Sharing the Value of the Fell Pony
Getting exposure for the Fell pony breed can happen in a variety of ways. Before we formed Fiddlehead, we supported Braeberry Farm in exposure by our involvement in trail type challenges: NW Mt. Trail, ACTHA, Crow Valley Trail, and Equine Trail Sports. Later we added involvements in OHSET, Working Equitation, cow sorting, parades and expos. Sharing the Fell pony with others can be helpful promotion. But it doesn't have to be done through involvement in shows or competition. Through our Get Grounded Equine program, we have been able to share our ponies via mentorships, teaching clinics, lessons, and educational farm visits.
